Trained by the stage.
Focused on the user.
I spent years learning to listen closely, prepare carefully, and adjust in the moment as a trumpet player and teacher. I bring those habits to product design, especially when people need to make sense of a complicated task.

Pittsburgh Cares
case studyRedesigned a volunteer website to make opportunities easier to find and group service days easier to plan.
Gave each audience its own path and moved capacity ahead of contact details. Group booking rose from the hardest task (3.0/5 ease) to 5/5 for both retest participants.

Practice Pulse
case studyDesigned a practice app that helps musicians start sessions faster and build a routine they can return to.
15 interviews and 23 test sessions shaped the app around one-tap starts and replaced punitive streak warnings with supportive re‑entry.

Smart Budget
case studyHelped design a budgeting app that puts spending, savings, and upcoming payments in one clear monthly view.
A 23-person survey shaped a dashboard-first design. The solo rebuild leads with “Left to spend” and uses one set of categories across every screen.
